Who may enter: The contest is open to any individual. High school students, university students, teachers, and scientists are invited to submit entries and to win prizes.
What to enter: To enter the contest, complete the online form including a link to an original one-minute video illustrating a physics concept using the game Osmos. The video should not contain images of any individual – only gameplay, diagrams, or related drawings.
Entry Deadline: All entries must be submitted by 11:59 PM PST, January 2, 2012.
Judging: Winners will be selected by judges who will evaluate every entry based on the following criteria:
(3 pts) – Physics concept is named and explained in the video
(3 pts) – Concept is convincingly demonstrated using the game
(3 pts) – Video is clear, concise, and easily understandable
(6 pts) – Video shows creativity or insight in the demonstration
